Online Counselling for Young Adults (and Adults)

Online Counselling for Young Adults (Private practice)

For young adults aged 17 and older - living within the British Isles

As a private practitioner:

I work in an integrative way ensuring that the client does not feel judged and feels confident enough to engage in a trusting relationship. I am led by the needs of the client sensitive to the fact that each individual person is an expert in understanding themselves, whatever their age, and has the ability to help themselves with appropriate support

I am qualified to offer Online Counselling. I specialise in counselling young people / young adults, online and face to face. I understand the feelings of loneliness, despair and fear that many young people struggle with. I also appreciate how early intervention counselling can help prevent the development or escalation of mental health issues within this age group.

I have specific experience in supporting young people and adults who have been bereaved or might soon be bereaved. I understand how each individual grieves differently and requires support unique to them. I also understand the specific needs of children and young people as part of a grieving family.

If you would like to contact me for online counselling, I am able to offer an initial session free of charge (30 minutes) This way you will have time to find out whether or not you feel I am the right counsellor for you and, together, we can decide whether or not I will be able to help you appropriately. In the event that I am not suited to you, I will aim to guide you towards, further, appropriate help and support. (I offer lower rates for university / college students who might struggle to pay full fees.)

  • I use "Zoom" - an encrypted platform - I offer video, IM chat or email counselling and can offer a combination to suit a clients needs
