The University of Manchester has published findings from a study
of suicide by children and young people aged under 25 in England and
Wales during 2014 and 2015. Information collected on 922 suicides includes: 9%
of under 20s who died had been looked after children, and self-harm was
reported in 52% of under 20′s and 41% of 20-24 year olds who died.
